In the year and a half of its existence, Kinfolk 94 has been the birthplace of more party franchises than we can remember. More often than not, these parties turn into something special for the attendees and the party-throwers alike and end up being the highlight of someone’s weekend, month or even season. The latest and greatest example of a party we hold in such an esteem is that of Japanese mixtape legend, DJ Shu-G. More recently, Shu-G held a special edition of the party in celebration of “The New York Rhymes” mixtape and T-shirt, a collaborative effort between Shu-G, Justin Hager and Kinfolk. Together, we released a package including an exclusive mix CD as well as a limited edition commemorative t-shirt, available at a handful of outlets in Japan and exclusively at The Kinfolk Store in the United States.
