A brand with history
President’s was first founded in Florence in 1957, but it wasn’t until 2010 when creative director and third generation family member Guido Biondi brought the brand to the market. After attending one of Italy’s most prestigious fashion institutes, Biondi took over his grandfathers manufacturing business, and built President’s around the idea of quality Italian materials and textiles. Designed for a contemporary gentleman, President’s brings streetwear and Italian sartorialism together in collections aimed at creating modern classics Crafted in Tuscany.
President’s is the apex of the contemporary man’s closet. It is impeccable shapes and researched details in high-quality materials. The Spring Summer 2016 collection is inspired by pre-war adventure and exploration. This season marks the introduction of a distinctive Indian print, inspired by wallpapers from The Roaring 20s, and a color palette of blue, military fatigue green, red brick, and shades of sand. As ever, exceptional fabrics are a core element of President’s – among the tactile pleasures of the season are various high-quality Japanese textiles, organic Egyptian cottons, and Italian textiles from Larusmiani. Thanks to its deep Tuscan roots, the brand never loses sight of its artisanal know-how: President’s elevates ready-to-wear to the realm of high craft.
